TEAM

Our work team is formed by professionals and experts from many different and complementary fields: both in the biological sciences as well as in the social ones. We structure our tasks in work commissions, although most of us do our job on-line, contributing with whatever the organization requires in any given moment.

Everyone who works for Cultivalia Senegaal is a volunteer; some of them being permanent collaborators in one or more tasks, and others in specific ones, depending on the possibility of each person.

Paramount to the functioning of our organization is the figure of Dinisse Sylvia, coordinator of on-the-ground projects. She does the monitoring of our projects, represents us in meetings with other institutions, and keeps an ongoing dialogue with recipients as well as with the most prominent people in the city. We decided to incorporate to our team a homeraised coordinator because we consider that experience and knowledge of the area, its language and its culture are essential to make the projects achievable.
